System Description

Backed by TEKVOX’s networked control system, the 71406 is an efficient, packaged solution which adds the fundamentals of A/V control & presentation to entry-level managed classrooms. The 71406 expands on the capabilities of the 71404 Drop-In by adding an audio amplifier, allowing users to enjoy rich, full-room sound in any size of installation; it also includes the full range of advanced features found in the 71404, including automation, remote management, and easy installation.

Neatly packaged in an all-metal enclosure, this Drop-In provides a comprehensive, fully-managed control solution for a modern classroom or training room. A 4×1 HDMI switcher accepts video inputs (e.g. customer PC, laptop, document camera, Blu-ray player, etc.), and powerful HDBase-T transmission technology carries audio, video, and serial control to the room display up to 230 ft away. An audio amplifier drives permanent in-room speakers, ensuring full, even, crystal-clear sound in any application. The 3.5” TekTouchPad offers intuitive control in a central, accessible location, and occupancy sensing allows modern, responsible energy conservation.
