Tekvox Facilitates Historic Intercontinental Celebration with 4K Drop-In Solution

To celebrate the 175th anniversary of the founding of New Braunfels, Texas, by Prince Solms of Braunfels, Germany, a special event and toast were organized by the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce.
Among the unique features of this toast was a beer recipe agreed-upon and made by breweries in the two cities at the same time. Furthermore, the celebration and toast took place in the two cities at the same time, was simulcast between them and also streamed live to Facebook.

TEKVOX Partners with PCS Telecom on AV Solutions for New Library Learning Center at Texas Southern University

Houston-based HBCU Texas Southern University (TSU) has opened its marquis Library Learning Center featuring the latest in innovative and collaborative teaching and learning spaces. TEKVOX designed and supplied state-of-the-art AV technology for the library partnering with PCS Telecom, which handled the installation and integration. Earlier this year TEKVOX and PCS Telecom teamed on the upgrade of the Earl Carl Courtroom at TSU’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
The $43 million Library Learning Center has a distinctive angular design by Moody Nolan Architects. The 137,000-square-foot structure will serve as an intellectual hub for the university and the community at large. A soaring five-story atrium is at the heart of the building; the entire structure encompasses classrooms, book stacks, computer labs, study areas, offices, meeting and boardrooms, and gallery space. It also houses TSU’s faculty senate, Board of Regents IT department and alumni suite and serves as an honors college. Read More…

TEK UV100T-20 Camera for Education

TEKVOX now offers an auto-tracking camera made for education. The TEK UV100T-20-ST auto-tracking camera is a state-of-the-art high definition 1080P/60 PTZ camera with 20X optical zoom lens and has two SDI outputs with IP streaming. By using a supplied configuration program, a Teacher’s tracking mask can be created and saved into the camera. The camera will only track while the teacher is in this area. If tracking is lost, a preset can be setup for the camera to go to. With auto-tracking the TEK UV100T can be used to follow a person without an operator.
