In order for USB devices connected to the TekVox-85T‘s HDBaseT receivers to be accessible from the transmitter side, the TekFlex-85T USB Host must first be set to HDBT 4 & 5. This process can be performed via the web GUI or serial commands.
Setting TekFlex-85T USB Host via Web GUI
- Log into the TekFlex-85T’s web GUI (more detailed instructions for this step can be found in section 5 of the TekFlex-85T User Manual)
- Select the “Additional” tab in the top-right corner of the GUI
- Set “USB Host” to “HDBT4-RX1“
- Next, set “USB Host” to “HDBT5-RX2“
- Finally, set “USB Host” to “USB-C“
Setting TekFlex-85T USB Host via TekManager
- In TekManager, open the TekMonitor connected to the TekFlex-85T by double-clicking it in the Holding Area.
- Select the “TekVox TekFLX-85T Pro” tab in the TekMonitor control window.
- Scroll down to “USB Host” (beneath “Lock Front”)
- Select “HDBT 4“
- Select “HDBT 5“
- Select “USB-C“
